Carrier AC Repair in Tempe, Phoenix & Scottsdale
Carrier air conditioner repair across Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, Scottsdale, Phoenix and Ahwatukee. Infinity, Performance and Comfort series. Owner-operated, upfront pricing, no commission techs.
Carrier is everywhere in the East Valley — Scottsdale and Arcadia especially, where a lot of Infinity systems went in during the 2010s. We service all of it: Infinity, Performance and Comfort series, split systems and rooftop package units. Carrier and Bryant share a parent company and most parts, so our Bryant install experience carries straight over.
What fails on Carrier systems in the Valley
- Capacitors, contactors, condenser fan motors — standard heat failures on any 7–15-year-old condenser.
- Infinity communicating faults — the Infinity control runs the system over a data bus. Fault codes point to the real problem if the tech knows how to read them; a lot of expensive board swaps happen when they don't.
- ECM / variable-speed blower motors in Performance and Infinity air handlers.
- Coil leaks on 2008–2014 condensers and evaporator coils — repairable or replaceable, priced both ways.
- Two-stage and variable-capacity compressor diagnostics — a misread here is a $3,000 mistake. We test before we condemn.
Carrier warranty
10-year parts if registered within 90 days of install, 5 years if not. We check the serial and file the claim. Labor is separate.
Repair or replace a Carrier
Past 12–15 years, we show both numbers. We don't install Carrier; a matched replacement would be American Standard, Bryant or Goodman — Bryant is the closest equivalent at a better price. SRP rebates apply.

Questions people ask
Do you need to be a Carrier dealer to repair a Carrier?+
No. Any licensed contractor can repair one. Warranty parts are available to us through the distributor.
My Carrier Infinity shows a fault code. What does it mean?+
Depends on the code. Have it ready when you call — it usually tells us what to put on the truck.
Is Bryant a good replacement for a Carrier?+
Yes. Same parent, same core components, typically lower price. We'll quote it alongside American Standard.
How long does a Carrier AC last in Phoenix?+
12–18 years with regular maintenance.
