What it costs
Nothing, for a replacement quote or a "system is shot" diagnosis. If you want a full diagnostic on a system nobody's looked at yet, that's a standard repair visit with the fee quoted up front.
Load calculation included
Any replacement quote we give starts with a Manual J load calculation on your actual house — square footage, orientation, windows, insulation, duct layout. Not "same tonnage as the old one." If the other quote has no load calculation behind it, that's your first red flag; a system sized by guess is the most common reason a new install never cools right.
